Monte Alban? Check!

Coming in to Oaxaca, our adorable little airplane made a loop of the valley before pluging down to the one-runway "airport" - a loop that took us, low and slow, directly over the ruins of the ancient Zapotec city Monte Alban. Yes! That was going to kill at least half a day, trudging up some mountain and then walking around looking interested at bunch of decaying stone buildings. Instead - in eight seconds flat, baby! - we checked it off the itinerary even before we landed!
