Funkytown

In the Mexico City neighborhood of Iztacalco, someone has been posting these fake "Tolerance Zone" signs, which employ the internationally recognized symbols for "tranny hooker cruising" and "snitch silencing." Whether the intention is to encourage or to protest these activities not exactly clear, but the article features the requiste humorless Mexican bureaucrat insisting, well, no, these activities are not, in fact, tolerated in Iztacalco. So think twice before popping a stoolie in the dome - and don't believe everything you read.
