We're not sure how you all spent your Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but here in Querétaro we celebrated by arresting the local black guy. This happens from time to time, of course, but this time he turned out to be Craig “Little (or possibly "Li'l" - reports vary. Either way, he's 5'9", so sorta "Grande" by local standards) Dude” Petties, one of the US Marshals' 15 Most Wanted - mostly wanted in the Western District of Tennessee for conspiracy to distribute cocaine, marijuana and money laundering. Armed, dangerous, traveling with his moll - the usual.

Rather unsurprisingly, this has gone unreported in the local press, despite a flurry of stories about the Army (yes, Army) arresting a handful of local pushers. We only heard about this because the Marshals sent out what has got to be one the snarkier press releases in recent memory.

Touted as one of the best places to do business in Central America [sic], Queretaro, Mexico, proved to be just the opposite for longtime drug kingpin Craig “Little Dude” Petties. Petties’ “business” in the international drug trade ended there with his arrest by Mexican authorities this past weekend.

Can't you see them freeze-framed in mid-belly laugh as the credits start to roll?
