We only just noticed this a couple weeks ago, probably because of our habit of averting our eyes whenever there are police nearby, but Querétaro has a rapid-response police motorcycle squad. (The question of what in this city could ever require rapid responding-to remains, at this writing, unanswered.) As government acronyms go, the Grupo de Reacción Inmediata Motorizada's is pretty bad-assed, even though they probably don't realize it.
