It's All Relative

Because of the way the house in Queretaro is set up, we hardly ever watch TV (seriously, if you're looking to cut down on your tube time, try moving your set to a slightly inconvenient spot in your home. You'll be down to five hours a week before you know it), but the place I'm staying in NY has a widescreen in the livingroom and a bitchin' cable package, so I'm able to start the day flipping between American CNN and Mexican Televisa. Both had weather stories this morning: CNN went on about the unseasonably warm weather in New York (there were guys running in the Park without shirts this morning), while Televisa lead with the havoc and damage being cause by the extreme cold front moving through Veracruz.

I only note this because it's 22 degrees warmer in Veracruz than in New York right now.

Veracruzans are not used to less than hot.
