The Leaning Tower of Calle Rio de la Loza

One of the last things we posted before leaving town last summer was this item about a utility pole down the street that had suffered an unfortunate accident and was left hanging precariously over road. At that point, our incredulity was directed at the fact that this hazard had been allowed to linger for about three days.

That was 101 days ago. Not only is the pole still there, but as you can see in the photo, the Independence Day ornaments we mocked in the earlier post have been taken down and replaced with Christmas decorations.
