Talk of the Town

The Big Q gets a shout-out in the New Yorker:

George W. Bush’s Cabinet (26.2%[Ivy League educated]), a Western-skewing bunch, held more degrees from the University of Denver (five) than from Yale (two, plus Bush’s one), and included the lone Cabinet member to have attended the Monterrey Institute of Technology, in Querétaro, Mexico.

This reminds us that the Mexican-educated Gutierrez will be replaced by the Mexico City-raised Bill Richardson in January, though we are incapable of drawing any greater significance from that fact.
