Totally Wasted

Mother Jones has a series of Drug War-related articles in its latest issue, including one very brief and modest contribution from yr. humble corresp., which somehow wound up with the most inflammatory title in the package.

Update: Related, from today's Post:

The Mexican army has carried out forced disappearances, acts of torture and illegal raids in pursuit of drug traffickers, according to documents and interviews with victims, their families, political leaders and human rights monitors.

Awesome, but do I have to actually buy the magazine? That's not to say that you're not worth it, of course...

Given that their payment-per-word is 25% less now than it was two years ago, I'd say they could use the five bucks if you can spare it.

I have that issue. Incredible series. Seriously eyeopening, especially since we seem to have representatives from at least two of the cartels in my little Texas town. Good work!
