Racial Sensitivity Watch: Black Like Sea

Unfortunately for seafood lovers, Querétaro is about 400 miles from the nearest ocean. Fortunately, it's even farther from the nearest black person, so no one's likely to complain about this shellfish place on Contituyentes.

Them big lips sho' does helps him eats mo' shrimps!

Speaking of the ocean, our executive editor and the Missus are heading southwest for a few days, for the opening of our new Zihuatanejo Bureau in a location recently vacated by the blog formerly known as Midwesterner In Mexico (now "Midwesterner In Arlington, VA."). We're counting on a very uneventful week - though the only other time we've ever been there, some crazy, crazy shit went down - but we've got a backlog of Querétaro-related posts for the interns to work on in our absence. Sho 'nuff!

Hey Frank, buen viaje. Sounds like a well-deserved break.

Nice video...you must have had to bite your lip through some of that.."but don't make from this love like someone that kill you"

Now I know why I just went with the Spanish version and let my wife explain what I agreed to after it was over, though I swear I didn't agree to all of that...
