Travel Day

Heading to El Norte today for several days of giving thanks that we've only got to spend a couple hours in Benito Juárez Airport, the least-confidence-inspiring of the world's major airports.

[View from the inter-terminal train, 12:50PM]
Oh, that? It's probably nothing...

Don't worry....looks like it's off-site. Kind of in the direction of my sister-in-law's kitchen.

Wimp... fly into Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport (the one where runways end either with mountains or the ocean... take your pick) or Lima or Kathmandu... both of which end their runways with cliffs.

First time I ever flew into Kong Kong was a few days after this, which made for a somewhat unsettling approach. Somewhere I have a picture of me in a boat on the harbor with the tail in the background.
