The Never Ending Story

It's 11PM - do you know where your gas line installation crew is? We do!  They're right outside our window, tearing up the pavement for the fourth or fifth time (we've lost track). Like the Seven Dwarfs, they like to whistle while they work.

Tonight is Night 26 of their 72-hour project replacing a few hundred meters of plastic piping.

By way of comparison, laying the 800-mile-long Trans-Alaskan Pipeline took just 26 months - a rate of about a mile per day through the Alaskan tundra.  At the rate this clown troupe is working it would have taken them 275 years.
