The Apocalypse Is Pretty Much Turning Out The Way We Expected

It's time for an end-of-the-world update! As you may already be aware, 2012 began with a symbolic reenactment of Cama-Zotz, the Maya bat-god, attempting to murder the "Hero Twins," Hunahpu and Xbalanque. In this modern re-telling, Justin Beiber attempts to murder the Lennon and McCartney classic "Let It Be" in front of a worldwide audience in New York's Times Square. At 2:41 in the video below, Beiber/Cama-Zotz utters the prescribed incantation which shifts the world's attention to Mexico and unleashes the apocalyptic countdown:

"Ladies and gentlemen...Carlos Santana!"

Now we see that Sinéad O’Connor and Björk will be closing the Cumbre Tajín music festival in Veracruz...on the Spring Equinox! This is significant because the the Winter Equinox, at 11:12AM on December 21, 2012, is the prophesied end of the world, so the Spring Equinox is really the last one we get to enjoy, and Björk's new album is supposed to be one of her best.  And of course the Maya predicted all of this, right here in the Mayan Calendar:

Let it be, indeed.
