Pollocaust

We couldn't help but think of this old Far Side cartoon as we were reading yesterday's Diario de Querétaro coverage (the online version doesn't do justice to the full-page, five-photo print version) of the horrible accident on the Celaya Libre: another inexplicable one-vehicle flipover, this time an 18-wheel trailer loaded with 18,000 live chickens.

The unnamed driver escaped unharmed.  The chickens, not so much.
