Badgers and Fighting Cocks Apparently Still Permitted on Flights To and From Mexico

We were just diving down in to the fine print of the airline regulations, to make sure there were no unpleasant surprises. Here's the pets-in-cabin money shot:
4.3.3: Service animals and pets may be admitted to the passenger cabin […provided that they are of the kind that…] do not pose a risk to passengers or crew, such as cobras or other reptiles, rodents, spiders or ferrets, among others; or animals like pigs or monkeys that, due to size, weight, or sanitary restrictions… should not be admitted to the passenger cabin.

Honestly, we're kind of impressed to see that passengers are specifically prohibited from bringing cobras into the passenger cabin. This country has grown up a lot since we've been here.
