Racial Sensitivity Watch: Cabinet Edition

Among the new cabinet members taking office with Presidente Peña Nieto (in Mexico, they have this crazy system where the president decides who he wants in his cabinet, and he gets them whether John McCain likes it or not), is Interior Minister Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong - who, despite his mother's surname, is Mexican by birth and has lived here all his life.  (Unlike the last guy named Chong who paired up with a Mexican, who was actually Canadian.) Still, he's got a chinky name and slantier-than-usual eyes for a Mexican, so we're probably in for six years of editorial cartoons like this one.
