No Bimbos

There was apparently a really important "futbol" game here over the weekend, where a team from Mexico City played another team from Mexico City, and managed to kick the ball in the net more times than their opponent, which was the most exciting thing to happen in Mexico City since the earthquake. Unlike American football, which is a crassly commercial spectacle, futbol maintains its purity by slapping corporate logos directly onto the players, which is why the lesser-scoring team is named after a cement company, and the greater-scoring one is a walking billboard for the Bimbo bread company.

Except in our local paper, where for some reason it's crudely photoshopped out, with no explanation given.

How come Coca-Cola got a pass?

Is there any way to subscribe to your blog, or is this supposed to remain a secret?

I'm guessing Bimbo didn't pay for their advertising. By the way, how do I complain about my subscription to Burro Hall? The Sabado Gigante editions have been missing for quite some time.
