We hadn't been back at Burro Hall HQ for 45 minutes when we heard a dull crash, followed by a metal-on-stone screeching, and then loud arguing, right outside our offices.  For reasons that remain obscure (except that, well, it's Mexico), a family of five thought it would be a good idea to try to drive down the pedestrian walkway between Burro Hall and the witch doctor's office.  They got as far as the sharp edge of the artisanal, hand-crafted sidewalk, which tore open the vehicle's oil pan. Everyone got out, yelled at each other, and then decided the best course of action would be to drive away as if nothing had happened.

So, it's good to be back.

If you closely at the oil spill, upside down, it is an image of Che Guevara. Realmente un Milagro!

Yeehaw! Sort of. In a south-of-the-border way.
